quality care we have given since 1999, we are listing frequently
asked questions and our answer to the inquiry
What services
do you provide?
We are there when help is needed at
home or residential facility. We offer companion care and home
care assistance to individuals who wish to remain independent. For
those who need transportation to appointments or assistance with
travel, we have caregivers with the
experience and training to make life easier. Providing respite
service to allow family members to travel or take time off from care
is an important feature of our services.
How quickly can you provide service?
Because we maintain a roster of
full-time, part-time and substitute caregivers, we are able to fill
an assignment request within 24-hours and, if necessary, with
only a few hours notice. Our telephone is answered personally 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
to assure you can speak to a staff member that will assist you.
Will I have the same caregiver every time I need assistance?
We believe that the caregiver should
be properly matched to each client
based on personality and the level of care needed. We endeavor to keep
the same caregiver for each assignment. If we must make a substitution
due to illness or other problems encountered by the caregiver, we
search our available roster to assign a suitable substitute. You
will always be notified of changes and you will be given the name
and qualifications of your new caregiver.
Where do you provide services?
Our assistance is given to
individuals in their homes or residential facilities.
What is the minimum and maximum number of hours of service you
provide?
We can schedule assistance from a
minimum of 4 hours to a maximum of 24 hours per day. This may
extend over any period of time that is needed. You do not pay
mileage for a caregiver to come to you, and you are charged only for
the time they are actually on assignment.
May I call you only when I need a caregiver or do I have to have a
set schedule?
We have two types of clients. Some
clients have regular schedules and others use us on an as needed
basis. We are flexible and we are able to work with you whatever
your needs may be. If you need assistance, simply call us and tell
us what you require.
Does insurance cover the cost of services?
Home care and personal assistance is
covered by most long-term care insurance policies.
We will assist you in submitting your
statements in the proper form with documentation to get your
payments.
How do you find your caregivers?
Our employee caregivers refer
personal caregivers to us that they know, or staff members they meet
in care
facilities, hospitals, etc. whom they feel meet our standards. The
reputation we have for good pay and excellent work environment
brings us the best professional to our staff .
Will caregivers use my car or their own if I need to run errands?
Our caregivers are insured and may
use your vehicle or their own as you prefer. If they use their
automobile, we
will bill you mileage (using IRS rates) to reimburse
the caregiver for expenses. If they drive your car, there is no additional charge.
